Set in the rural downland village of Doddington in North Kent, we’re 90 minutes from London by car or an hour by train to Teynham, the nearest station. More regular services run to Faversham, slightly further away. Faversham is a pretty market town with independent shops, pubs and a weekly market. The Kent coast and the popular seaside towns including Whitstable and Margate are all within easy reach.
The surrounding North Downs countryside offers some of the best walking in the South East, including the Augustine Camino pilgrimage route, which passes through the village. The area is also popular for cycling and birdwatching.
